Sask K of C Charitable Foundation President & CEO Harvey Granatier was asked to say a few words at the banquet following the Ordination. Here is an overview of his presentation:

It is indeed a privilege and pleasure to offer congratulations to Father Warren on behalf of all your fellow Brother Knights of Columbus from throughout the province on this very special day as you begin a new chapter in your life.
It is virtually impossible to imagine the emotions that were experienced within the Dungen household while formulating the decision to enter the Seminary.
Leaving your home to move to another province with a wife and four sons in order to assume Seminarian life would have had countless challenges.
St Georges Knights of Columbus Council in Prince Albert recognized that these challenges existed and realized that financial support may help to lessen some of the stress the family was experiencing. They also felt it was a priority to help keep the family unit together during the Seminarian years.
In partnership with the Knights of Columbus Charitable Foundation and through the generosity of relatives, friends and Brother Knights,- many of whom are here today – we were able to provide an annual contribution to the family.
Many contributors felt that their donation exemplified in a small way our appreciation for the commitment that the Dungen family was making to the Church as individuals and as a family.
Father, the Knights of Columbus are excited and proud of your accomplishments and look forward with anticipation to your future as a leader within our faith.
Remember that the Knights will always be there as a support and a friend.
We wish you and your family all of God’s graces in the future.
Congratulations and God Bless.
