Thank you from seminarian, Luke.TranTam

Dear Brother Knights,

I would like to thank you all for the invaluable support you have provided to me and all seminarians.

I am a Knight member myself and it was a great blessing for me to have some experiences working and serving at St. Patrick parish in Saskatoon. I was so amazed at how generous and kind that all brothers knights have had for the Church and the needy. I learned so much from them in cooking hamburger, selling 50-50, preparing food for parish’s events. I also joined with the brothers in some fundraising programs. God has called all of us to serve him and his people in different ways. Thank you very much for your contributions to the Church and society especially to us – seminarians – who wish to follow Christ whole heart.

As the school year starts and as an international student. It is a great help for me to have the fund from you. This mean of support will be used in buying stuff for my studies and pastoral work.

Thank you, brothers, I really appreciate your support. May God bless you and your families, keep you in his good work and shower on you with many of his graces. Please pray for us in your prayer and be assured that I always remember you all in my daily prayer.

Yours in Jesus Christ.

Matching Donation

We are pleased to announce that we have a Knight of Columbus member who has committed to match up to $150,000.00 in donations during the second year of the K of C Vocations Endowment Fundraising Drive. This is from the 2019 Convention (Moose Jaw) to the 2020 Convention (Prince Albert).

James Meier, long-time member and Financial Secretary of Luseland Council #6684, presents Sask K of C Charitable Foundation President & CEO Harvey Granatier with a very generous donation. Brother James has also committed to match donations up to $150,000.00 made during the second year of the Vocation Endowment Fund. The second-year began at the Moose Jaw Convention and to the end of June, we have received $22,900.00 in donations to the Fund.

This incentive will hopefully encourage all Councils to participate with their parishes in growing the Vocations Endowment Fund.
