An Invitation to Join Sask KofC in a Gift for Newly Installed Archbishop Donald Bolen

As you may know the Most Reverend Donald Bolen was installed as Archbishop Friday October 14, 2016.  On behalf of all of the Knights of Columbus of Saskatchewan we presented His Grace with a card congratulating him on his installation and committing that we would be provide him with a gift at the beginning of December.  That gift would be a donation in his name made to a charity of his choice.  We invite all Sask councils and Brother Knights to consider joining and participating in that gift with a donation of any amount.  You may remember not so long ago, when, as Bishop of Saskatoon, he took to the streets to panhandle for donations on behalf of the poor.

If your council would like to participate in this charitable donation, please send a cheque made out to “Saskatchewan State Council” with a notation in the memo line “Archbishop Donald Bolen’s Charity of Choice” and send it to State Treasurer Joe Riffle, 42 Simpson Crescent, Saskatoon  SK.  S7H 3C6 before November 30th.

If a Brother Knight or any individual wishes to make a tax deductible donation, please send a cheque made out to “Sask KofC Charitable Foundation” with a notation in the memo line “Archbishop Donald Bolen’s Charity of Choice” and send it to Bob Barkman, Executive Director, 214 Avenue M South, Saskatoon  SK.  S7M 2K4 before November 30th.

We will compile all donations received into one single gift and send the donation to the charity chosen by his Grace’s in early in December.

Thank you for your consideration and God Bless
